We’re a week away from the big day, but this past weekend, Salem was chock full of visitors and events.

Here’s a look at just some of the activity from our journeys downtown this past Saturday and Sunday.

Featured music includes a “jam” on the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall between violinist Christine Cooper of the U.K. and Nicholas Bogosian of Houston. The duo just met before playing.

Also featured is a snippet from Doctor Gasp, performing “Wax Museum” at the Gulu Gulu Cafe.
