Are we having a boy or a girl?
It’s the question all parents wait for. Some wait until their baby is born. Others learn from an ultrasound technician.
Robin Flynn and Michael DiMauro learned the sex of their baby on Sunday, but they weren’t in a hospital.
The Salem couple is the latest to take part in a new trend that’s been the buzz on parenting blogs and Good Morning America — gender reveal parties.
After seeing a segment on the morning show, Robin and Mike decided to have their own party to celebrate the newest addition to their family, who is due in December.
Robin had an ultrasound earlier this week. Then, she gave a sealed envelope with the results to a baker from Cakes for Occasions in Danvers. The cake was prepared with gender neutral decorations on the outside and an inside which was dyed pink or blue to indicate the sex of Robin’s baby.
Salem Patch was there to catch the action.
Was her cake blue or pink? Watch our video to find out.
