SURVIVOR has diehard fans, and one of the best parts of appearing on the show has been poking fun at myself and celebrating fandom around the experience.
As I’ve journeyed into the world of reality television, I’ve had some fun with other fandoms, including those surrounding The Bachelor and The Big Brothers franchises. Whether you love the show or love to hate it, Tweeting the wonderful and often wacky antics of real people on television is fun and fans of them are too.

This Tweet was shared live at the SURVIVOR finale on CBS in May 2016.A take on looking forward to watching SURVIVOR with a nod to dating app Tindr.I quickly learned the best social media posts as a reality show contestants are those in which you poke fun at yourself and your own in-game dialogue. This was Tweeted the morning before an episode of the show.After posting a Tweet following a controversial contestant’s elimination (Chad) on “The Bachelorette 12,” my Tweet was picked up by ABC and aired on their after-show.When I found myself underwhelmed with the selection of guys on “The Bachelorette,” I decided an analogy was the best way to express my opinion on the less than stellar options. This was tweeting during the live show, taking advantage of the trending hashtag.
